Comprehensive Officer Training At PSC

Ready to join a trusted security team? At PSC, we’re looking for dedicated individuals to help protect our customers. We offer comprehensive training to ensure you’re prepared for success, including:


  • 24 hours of resident training
  • A minimum of 16 hours of on-the-job training
  • Basic security officer training through the Professional Security Training Network (PSTN) 12-part series

Are you ready to make a difference as a professional security officer? Our team is composed of skilled professionals, many of whom are former law enforcement officers and military personnel with over 10 years of experience. At PSC, we set high standards to ensure safety and professionalism at every assignment.


  • All employees must pass a background check and any client-required screenings before starting their assignment
  • Senior supervisors and managers are security professionals, many with law enforcement or military backgrounds, who provide leadership and ensure high-quality standards
  • Officers are either graduates of a certified law enforcement training academy or receive contract-specific pre-employment security training
  • All security guards are required to complete a security training course and pass the test to become a certified professional security officer


As part of our team, you’ll complete a security training course and pass the test to become a certified professional security officer.


Minimum Hiring Requirements:


  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • U.S. citizen
  • High school diploma or GED
  • No felony arrests
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Able to pass a literacy test
  • Of good moral character
  • Must complete a satisfactory background investigation and mandatory drug screen
  • Oral interview
