Professional Security Corporation requires mandatory training of all security officers, although, this is not a requirement for all the states. Minimum training requirements include: 24 hours of resident training, and a minimum of 16 hours of On the Job Training. Professional Security Corporation uses the Professional Security Training Network (PSTN), a 12-part series program, for Basic Security Officer Training.

Recruiting Experienced Security Professionals for Critical Positions

  • Many are former law enforcement officers and military personnel - most with over 10 years' experience
  • All employees must pass a background check and any client required checks prior to assuming their respective assignment
  • Our senior supervisors and managers are security professionals, many of whom have served as law enforcement officials or military officers, who provide leadership to the officers and ensure that the program always meets the highest quality standards
  • All officers are either graduates of a certified law enforcement training academy, or receive contract specific pre-employment security training

Minimum Hiring Requirements

  • Minimum age is 21 years
  • US citizen
  • High school diploma or GED
  • No felony arrest
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass literacy test
  • Be of good moral character
  • Complete a satisfactory background investigation
  • Must complete mandatory drug screen
  • Oral interview
